BISON TRANSPORT SCHOLARSHIP AND AWARD OF ENTREPRENEURIAL EXCELLENCE
We have a deeply rooted community spirit. That's why we give back to the community and continuously concentrate our efforts on being an exemplary corporate citizen. To promote these values Bison Transport has established two awards; one is for the Bison Transport Scholarship and the other is an Award of Excellence to encourage students to reach their full potential and reward their best efforts.
Bison Transport Scholarship
To be eligible for the Bison Transport Scholarship you are:
- Enrolled full time in the Business Administration Program at Red River College
- Majoring in Administration, Marketing or Office Management
- Enrolled in graduating year of studies
- Achieving a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0
- Can provide a letter of reference from an instructor or employer familiar with the applicants goals and objectives
- Involved in extracurricular activities over the last 2-3 years such as student council, local community, charity
Monetary Award Value: $500
Bison Transport Award of Excellence
To be eligible for the Bison Transport Award of Excellence you must:
- Be a member of the graduating group of students who achieved the highest mark in their group Entrepreneurial Business Plan Project and in the determination of the selection committee were exemplary and stood highest in their study of Business Administration
Monetary Award Value: $500

Work your way through school with our Summer Opportunities. Opportunities are currently available to post-secondary students wishing to gain valuable hands-on experience. These summer positions often lead to full-time employment offers upon graduation.
Start your career as an Accounting Technician, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or Credit Coordinator. These roles offer you the opportunity to fully apply your Business Education as you learn and contribute to the successful operation of a North-American wide transportation solutions leader. In these roles, teamwork is essential in utilizing each others' strengths and capabilities. You will assist the Accountants in preparing monthly and year-end financial statements that are presented to the executives, owners, regulatory bodies and other financing parties. Through this experience you will develop strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as decision making. With the combination of this 'hands-on' exposure and regular performance/coaching, your strengths will be recognized and you will define your career path in Accounting at Bison Transport.
