The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is accountable for the company’s relationship with the clients that he or she has been assigned. This would include many facets of the interface including guaranteeing quality of order entry and appointment making, relationship establishment and development, issue resolution and business level monitoring. In the most general sense, the CSR would be responsible for maintaining an exceptional contact with the client’s needs. In addition, the CSR works in concert with the entire Customer Service team in the servicing of all clients.

Specific responsibilities include:

·         Day to Day Customer Contact: The CSR will be a single point of contact between their assigned customer(s) and Bison Transport—ensuring that the customer’s needs are properly understood and served.  

·         Operational Responsibilities: The CSR should aid in the translation of customer needs into positive action by the company. The CSR must work with planning personnel to ensure maximum equipment utilization while maintaining targeted customer service levels. 

·         Relationship Building: The CSR will be responsible for fostering a strong relationship with all client personnel who require day-to-day service from our company  

·         Level of Service: The CSR must know the level of service (LOS) that their client requires on any single shipment, and for their business overall.  

·         Volume and Destination Trend Analysis: Along with the knowledge of all their customer’s individual shipment requirements, the CSR must also know their general trends of business volume, the destination mix, and any changes or unusual developments.

This includes the monitoring of freight volumes, service levels, margins, carrier performance, carrier and client development, and maintaining the overall performance of the department.  This is accomplished by strong written and verbal communication, cultivating both internal and external relationships and providing leadership, support and direction. In addition, this incumbent will drive business growth of the brokerage by research new opportunities and initiatives, build relationships with clients, negotiate contracts, and lead the implementation of new business into the Britton Transport network.  The Senior Manager will ensure team members are working towards established goals and programs and will provide leadership, mentorship and ongoing development to team members.

Forklift Operator with Class 1 License - Langley

As part of our continued growth in Langley Terminal, we are looking for a Full-Time forklift driver who will be responsible for loading and unloading freight, filling out paperwork, and shunting trailers in yard. This role reports to the Operations Manager. The incumbent takes charge of the entire shipping/receiving/picking/packing process to ensure all shipments and orders are complete and meets transport pick up times.

Hours- Monday to Friday 0800hrs – 1600hrs

Responsibilities include:   - Responsible for the accurate and efficient process of shipping, receiving, of freight, and also stocking, replenishment and picking of merchandise. - Ensures compliance with all appropriate policies, best practices and safety rules. - Willing to work occasional extended hours as required and able to handle up to 50 pound boxes - Other duties as required
