Maintenance Coordinator - Calgary

The Maintenance Coordinator ensures that the fleet maintenance requirements are accurately identified, recorded and prioritized within the maintenance system to meet maintenance safety, operational and Driver needs. The Maintenance Coordinator is also expected to be a team player in the maintenance department and able to communicate effectively with mechanics, drivers, outside vendors and Bison’s customers. 

Responsibilities Include:

Administration and Reporting

  • Work order entry
  • Creating purchase orders
  • Utilizing reports to identify incorrect or problem data using established guidelines
  • Communicating exceptions, initiate corrective action, and report and evaluate the action effects.
  • Works with Outsourced Maintenance Coordinators to schedule equipment and ensures equipment gets to required shop
  • Assigns tasks to the Mobile Tech in the Cgy yard
  • Driver & Customer Relations

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a maintenance administrative/coordination role
  • Excellent organizational skills and record keeping ability
  • Strong attention to detail abilities
  • Ability to use and learn computer software and programs
  • Problem solving ability; recognize, assess, report and provide solutions

As a Fleet Dispatcher for our Calgary operations team, you will be exposed to all aspects of the Western Customer Service region. Specific Responsibilities Include:

Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Program Overview

The Role:
