This newly created position of Director of Maintenance, Western Region operates out of our fastest growing region, Calgary, and will report to the Vice President, Maintenance.  The Director works in conjunction with key leaders such as Vice-Presidents, Directors and other Division leaders in the ongoing development, supervision and performance of our maintenance program across our network with primary focus in the Western division (terminals in Winnipeg, Mississauga, Calgary, Edmonton, and Langley). The primary responsibility is to ensure the Region meets the company’s goal in customer service, equipment utilization, fleet services, profitability and employee/driver satisfaction while effectively managing cost and down-time. The Position The Night Dispatcher is responsible for overseeing all Dispatch and Customer Service activity for their assigned shift. The focus of the Night Dispatcher is the identification and resolution of all non-routine or time-sensitive issues that arise after regular business hours. The Night Dispatcher must display sound judgement and involve other operations staff in the resolution process, as they deem necessary. Must be well organized, an excellent communicator and have a keen sense of timeliness.

This position is 4 on 4 off - hours of work are 6:00pm - 6:00am. A healthy night shift premium applies.

The Successful Candidate As a Fleet Dispatcher for our Mississauga night operations team, you will be exposed to all aspects of non-routine and time-sensitive issues that occur after regular business hours. Operations Trainer - Dispatch The Operations Trainer coordinates and facilitates training for Operations team members. This includes initial, recurrent, transitional and developmental training programs, which may be delivered as classroom-based, on-the-job (OTJ), and/or eLearning. Forklift Operator with Class 1 License - Langley

This role reports to the Operations Manager. The incumbent takes charge of the entire shipping/receiving/picking/packing process to ensure all shipments and orders are complete and meets transport pick up times.

Hours- Monday to Friday 0800hrs – 1600hrs

Responsibilities include:   - Responsible for the accurate and efficient process of shipping, receiving, of freight, and also stocking, replenishment and picking of merchandise. - Ensures compliance with all appropriate policies, best practices and safety rules. - Willing to work occasional extended hours as required and able to handle up to 50 pound boxes - Other duties as required  

Requirements:   - Forklift Certified - Class 1 driving license - Experience in a Distribution Centre/Warehouse role desirable - Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing - Good analytical and mathematical skills - Strong organizational skills; attention to detail - Ability to meet urgent deadlines - Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
