Tuesday, March 29, 2011 - BISON TRANSPORT WINS NATIONAL FLEET SAFETY AWARD GRAND PRIZE FOR THE FOURTH TIME!
The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) announced the grand prize winners of the highly coveted National Fleet Safety Awards, and Bison Transport has been selected in the category of truckload companies in the over 25 million miles large carrier division.
The grand prize winners were selected from among 18 division winners in the National Fleet Safety Division Awards announced earlier this year. Bison was selected for demonstrating the highest standards in their overall safety programs, on and off the highway and their commitment to continuously improving safety.
President and CEO Don Streuber states “It is an honor to be recognized for this prestigious award and to be acknowledged for the fourth time truly demonstrates that safety is a part of our culture and our daily process. In fact the timing of the award comes as we are about congratulate Bison's 7th Driver, Lloyd Braun, for completing 2 million consecutive miles accident free"
Rob Penner, VP of Operations for Bison Transport accepted the award, at the association’s Annual Awards Banquet on March 15, 2011, at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California.
