Supervisor, Customer Service (Term Contract)
Mississauga, ON

Bison's Customer Service division offers safety, reliability and exceptional customer service ensuring on-time pickup and delivery of shipments. The Customer Service Supervisor (CSS) is accountable for the company's performance in terms of customer service, driver satisfaction and asset utilization. The primary objective of the CSS is to uphold corporate policy, procedure, direction and culture to ensure program objectives and goals are met

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Leading the department by providing direction and support on a day to day basis;
  • Provide performance management and coaching as well as mentorship and development to their team;
  • Support human resources needs of the Customer Service group;
  • Solve problems, realize opportunities and communicate in a timely fashion;
  • Working with the Customer Service Management team to affect group strategies and achieve department goals;
  • Develop customer relationships and establish themselves as a point of escalation for customer concerns within our network;
  • Onboard new customers and develops their specific requirements.

Our Ideal Candidate will possess:

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills;
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills;
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers;
  • High attention to detail and accuracy integrity;
  • Knowledge of the Transportation and North American Geography are considered assets.
