More loads, less hassle

For partner carriers based out of the Canadian central or eastern regions targets, we have a set utilization target per truck based on a standardized structure, based on a set number of miles per month for teams and a set number of miles per month for singles. Partner carriers based out of the Canadian western regions with Canadian-only authorities will be given a target based on a number of loads per week.

Our partner carriers on the FMP receive a blend of dedicated freight and various operating lanes. Therefore, the greater flexibility your drivers have, the more robust the operating plans become, resulting in improved utilization.

A partner carrier onboarding to FMP may begin with one truck to assess their first month on the program, after which a carrier may have the opportunity to add additional units. The addition of units will be determined between the performance of the carrier and the needs of the business.

Partner carriers with fleet sizes ranging from 1 to 20 trucks are likely to experience a return on investment; however, we have onboarded partner carriers with larger fleet sizes. As a business owner, we encourage you to assess your operational costs against the program's rates. How FMP fits for you is equally important as how you fit on FMP.

As business owners, you are responsible for managing your drivers (i.e. hours, performance, safety, driver payment, liability, and hiring), your finances (i.e. receivables, financing, payroll, and invoice management), and your growth (i.e. vendors, cost management, asset acquisition and maintenance, and business development).

Bison manages customer relationships and sustainability to acquire freight to give you consistency in truck usage. Bison oversees the coordination of all moves and communicates to you upcoming truck movements. Additionally, Bison is also responsible for managing payments to you and Bison Plus Fuel card rebates.

Rates for our participating Fleet Management Program partner carriers are based on a base rate, market indicators, plus fuel model.

Fill out our application, and FMP Procurement will contact you within 24-48 hours upon receipt. They will provide you with additional information, including the lanes, rates, process, and additional perks, and collaborate with you to assess your overall fit for the program. Once there is an agreement, FMP Procurement will send you an agreement to begin on the 1st of the following month. Clic
