Highway 11 and 17 – CLOSED

Highway 11 is now open but highway 17 remains closed. Any trucks not past cut offs will be rerouted to Highway 11.

Highway 11 from Nipigon to Longlac remains closed, along with Highway 17 from White River to Heyden. Therefore there is no travel between MB and ON.

Highway 11 and 17 are now closed due to collision incidents.

Adverse winter weather over the weekend impacted east–west movements between Manitoba and Ontario, resulting in closures on both Hwy 11 and Hwy 17 through Saturday and Sunday.

Both highways are now open, and travel has been restored. Orders affected by the closures have already been identified and plans are in place. No additional action is required at this time.
