–UPDATE: Jan 27, 3:13 pm —
Both hwy 11 and 17 – are now open in full.

–UPDATE: Jan 27, 12:58 pm —
Hwy 17 at Wawa has reopened. The closure at Upsala remains listed on ON 511, though it has not been updated since early this morning. Area cameras show no traffic backlog, and westbound traffic is being observed. Until a driver confirms conditions on the ground, operations will continue to follow ON 511 guidance.
Separately, Hwy 11 is closed in both directions between Hwy 112(E) and Hwy 66 near Kenogami due to a collision. Customers may see minor routing or transit impacts in the area and should contact their account manager with any questions.
–ORIGINAL POST–
Highway 17 is currently closed between Upsala and Shabaqua Corners due to a collision, and between Wawa and Batchawana Bay due to severe weather. With no estimated reopening time for either closure, eastbound traffic will be rerouted via Highway 11 where possible, including trucks from Winnipeg and Ontario not yet past the Hwy 11 cutoff. These detours may result in transit delays until conditions improve and the highway reopens.
