— UPDATE: Feb 5, 11:10 am —
ON 511 has updated to open. Drivers in the area are reporting that traffic is beginning to move, but is very slow going.
— ORIGINAL POST —
Heavy snowfall overnight has resulted in the closure of key corridors in Northern Ontario:
- Hwy 17 is closed east of Thunder Bay to Terrace Bay.
- Hwy 11 is closed between Nipigon and Beardmore.
As a result, there is currently no through travel between Manitoba and Ontario/Quebec. Our teams are monitoring conditions closely and will adjust operations as conditions improve. For shipment-specific questions, please contact your account manager.
