Bison Transport is excited to announce it has been recognized by Forbes as one of Canada's Best Employers for 2016. Bison was the only trucking company to be recognized, one of just 12 organizations from the transportation sector and one of nine Winnipeg-based companies on the list.
"It's an honor to receive this level of recognition and a real tribute to the incredible people in our organization," said Linda Young, VP of Human Resources and People Development at Bison. "We're very performance driven at Bison, but there's also a strong family atmosphere. We all know each other, we have a great team and we're all working towards the same thing, so we support each other in our pursuit of success."
Bison was one of 250 employers chosen by Forbes based on the results of an independent survey conducted among 8,000 Canadian employees working at large companies and institutions. Employees from 25 industry sectors were contacted anonymously online without the involvement of their employer. Respondents included in the survey are representative of the Canadian workforce by gender, age, region, education and ethnicity.
