BISON TRANSPORT INVESTS IN CROSS-BORDER DRIVERS
Tuesday Nov 30, 2021

Bison is excited to announce their new U.S. premium increase for our Cross-Border Drivers. “We recognize the increasing demands that face today’s professional Cross-Border Driver and Bison is making a major investment to reflect this! We are pleased to announce an industry leading pay package for our Cross-Border Drivers and Owner-Operators.” says Trevor Fridfinnson, Chief Operating Officer at Bison Transport.

The new U.S. premiums increase will give our Owner-Operators an opportunity to earn up to $1.45/U.S. mile and our Company Drivers an opportunity to earn up to 65¢/U.S. mile in our eastern region (ON and QC) and up to 62¢/U.S. mile in our central and western regions (MB/SK/AB/BC). Earning potential is calculated using base rate and applicable premiums. The new rates will be in effect first thing in January 2022.

In addition, Bison introduced a $2,500 sign-on bonus available until December 31, 2021, for experienced Cross-Border Drivers and Owner-Operators.

With extensive U.S. opportunities coming our way, we have more cross-border options available and Drivers can take advantage by including more U.S. miles in their work.

“Currently, our Cross-Border Driver and Owner-Operator workforce is over 95% vaccinated, with that number growing daily. We are deeply appreciative of their commitment to our business and our clients. Our professional Drivers remain at the heart of Bison’s success. Their continued commitment to safety and providing exceptional service is essential to our business.” says Trevor Fridfinnson.
